About the brand

The Hut Hut is a hostel based in Uluwatu, Bali. A strong and recognizable visual identity was created inspired by the tropical surroundings, surf culture and relaxed atmosphere of the destination. The branding combines playful and modern design elements with a warm and adventurous visual expression connected to the lifestyle and environment of Bali.

The result

The visual identity was inspired by the natural surroundings of Uluwatu and the lush garden environment surrounding the hostel. The colour palette reflects the warm and earthy tones of Bali through soft beige shades, deeper browns and natural textures inspired by the island itself. A bold terracotta red was introduced to create a modern and expressive contrast, together with a natural green tone to add depth and balance to the identity.

The imagery was carefully selected to match the clean and minimal atmosphere of the bungalows while staying connected to the overall colour palette and visual direction. Inspired by the client’s vision, the identity combines simplicity with a modern and luxurious aesthetic through light tones, elegant typography and a refined serif typeface.
